Costumers With A Cause participated in two events in the month of December. The first event was put together with the assistance of the Marines Toys for Tots and with the cooperation of the Volo Auto Museum in Volo, Illinois. Brian, the owner of the Volo Auto Museum, extended an offer of half off admission to anyone who brought in an unwrapped new toy for the toy drive!
As you can see by the photo (Taken by Ron Ladao Photography) which was taken at the event, we had several volunteers come out for this really great cause. Unfortunately we didn’t get a count on how many toys were collected or how many visitors to the Volo Auto Museum brought in a toy for the toys for tots toy drive. In the 12-2 time frame that Costumers With A Cause were there, there were three boxes of toys filled. One of the highlights of this event other than being in a REALLY cool venue, we also had 3 US Marines there with us.
The second event for Costumers With A Cause was put together by CWC volunteer, Sidney Vons and was held at Dave and Busters in Orland Park, IL. This event was to benefit the Make A Wish Foundation. Again, as you can see by the photo (taken by Ron Ladao Photography), we had quite a few volunteers who were willing to show up for this awesome event which ran from 2pm till 7pm. Our Photographer, Ron Ladao, was taking photo’s of the Costumers With A Cause group and individuals for a donation of $10. Those funds went to the Make a Wish Foundation.
And here we have a clipping, okay, maybe a little MORE than a clipping from the local newspaper who visited the event:
As always, we would like to thank every volunteer member of Costumers With A Cause who came out for one or both of these events!
